via Nova Scotia
The first leg of my journey was driving to Nova Scotia to let Arlo settle in with my Mom, where he'll be staying during my trip. He looks pretty ok with that, though he has no idea what's about to happen...
I had great timing, because Air Canada Flight Attendants went on strike this weekend, meaning that my flight to Heathrow on Tuesday was cancelled :( Luckily, I booked a backup flight when I first heard about the strike so I'll still be taking off tomorrow, albeit on a less convenient and more expensive route, but I'll make it!
